Itzel J. is someone who has learned how to advocate for her needs, support her classmates through their own struggles by offering advice, all while having such a positive attitude at our school.
Itzel has grown immensely in her four years at our school. She has had a challenging year but despite this, has been so positive on our campus, always smiling and completing her work. She is someone who has learned how to advocate for her needs, support her classmates through their own struggles by offering advice, all while having such a positive attitude at our school. She is now succeeding academically as well as becoming a star athlete on our school's softball team.
Itzel has inspired 9th, 10th, and 11th graders she interacts with to see the value in school and to not give up.
She is a model for what believing in yourself and advocating for help can do to a high school student.
