December 12th will mark the five year anniversary of the Paris Agreement. However, despite this global commitment to tackling climate change, it still remains an existential threat that we all need to be concerned about. The climate crisis, however, given its implications for the future of humanity, is a challenging topic to discuss in a safe way with students. Join us for a one-hour conversation to look at ways in which to broach this difficult issue in a constructive and hopeful way, and to connect with other teachers interested in doing the same. We will provide activities and resources, and there will be the opportunity to share experiences with and learn from other teachers.
This event is aimed at teachers in the UK.
This workshop will be held via Zoom. Details for joining the Zoom meeting will be shared by email prior to the event.
